A self-employed man is a great asset of a society. The person who paddles a rickshaw for earning money is calle rickshaw pullar. He is commonly known as “Rickshawala”. He is poor and usually he does not own a rickshaw. He rents it form its owner. He carries one or two person’s one place to another place in exchange of money. Sometimes he also carries some objects on his rickshaw. He works eight to twelve hours every day. His work is very hard but the money he can same is not enough to maintain a family. For this reason he lives in poverty. Though he works hard, he leads a very sorrowful life. His sorrow knows no bounds when he falls in ill. Even during his illness he has to work in order to maintain his family. Sometimes it is found that very old men are pulling rickshaws. It is pathetic but they have no option. Yet he is happy because he earns honestly. His service is very much useful to us. Our life is impossible without his sincere and honest service. So we should love him from heart.
