The role of women in nation building cannot be denied any more in the context of present reality of the world. There was a time when women were mere instruments to serve the family affairs. But with the progress of civilization, the outlook and to attitude towards women have changed. There are many women who are working in government and non-government offices with their professionals nowadays. They are working and earning a lot not only for supporting their own family but also for contributing to the whole development of our country. The women of Bangladesh are now more conscious, serious and professional. They are getting educated as well as preparing themselves for completing with the male. Women constitute almost half of the total population of our country. So it is impossible to think about the complete development without the emancipation of our women folk. Women are more dedicated and devoted to their duties and can really play a vital role in nation building.
